Accessibility
Signivio aims to be easy to find, understandable and usable with different assistive technologies. This page explains our service and the design of this website. Last updated: 16 September 2026.
Our service and how it works
Under the Signivio brand, Wollhofer GmbH manufactures custom tactile labels and matching Braille reference plates for household appliances. This website provides information and a no-obligation enquiry form. After discussing your appliance model and requirements, we provide an individual quotation. Production and delivery follow only after you place an order. The website has no shopping cart or payment function.
Customise display
Below the navigation, “Display settings” offers text sizes up to 200%, contrast options, increased text spacing and a choice of Nunito or Arial. These settings require JavaScript. Browser zoom and screen readers remain available independently.
Accessibility approach
Our development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We also consider the web-related requirements of EN 301 549 and the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness.
- Clear headings, landmarks and link text to support screen-reader navigation.
- A skip-to-content link and visible focus indicators for keyboard use.
- High-contrast text and controls. Content adapts to magnification and narrow screens.
- Descriptive alternative text for informative images. Visualisations are identified as such.
- Visibly labelled form fields, a linked error summary and preservation of entered information when errors occur.
- No visual CAPTCHA, autoplaying media or time-limited form entry. An expired security token can be refreshed without losing your entries.
- Navigation and the enquiry form also work without JavaScript.
- German and English with correctly marked page languages. Installation instructions are available as HTML text.
Assessment status and limitations
This website is assessed with automated checks and manual checks of keyboard use, forms, magnification and narrow layouts. An independent full WCAG audit and usability testing with blind or partially sighted people are still pending. We therefore do not currently make an unrestricted conformance or certification claim.
Braille dots inside product photographs and visualisations are not digitally readable instructions. Their purpose is explained in accompanying text. To operate your actual appliance, use only the reference plate supplied with your product.
Report an accessibility problem
If you cannot access information or use the form, we can help by email or telephone. Please identify the page and the function you could not use, if possible. Details about your browser or assistive technology are optional.
